Default iPaq 3850 Questions

Hello all,

A few questions for you folks if you get the time, i've been scouring this forum for some time now, but never registered, so i'm new on paper

I have a Compaq iPaq 3850, its still running as it was when I bought it, with Pocket PC Windows 2002. I have a Bluetooth Jacket with Compact Flash port on it too.

My questions are:

1. Should i pay $30 for PocketPC 2003, I dont mind upgrading but is it worth it.
2. Not really "whats the best" CF Wireless card, but which is the best support Wireless Compact Flash card for my iPaq. I have borrowed a friends Buffalo WFI2-CF-S11G and for life of me cannot get it to work. I have the Buffalo AP, and PCMICA euiptment already.

Thanks for any info you may have.

Paul.

Make sure your card supports PPC2003 as alot dont before you do anything. There are a few fixes in PPC2003 but if your happy with what you have i would not bother.

I like the idea of upgrading and being up to date, but my bro has an Asus PDA with PC2003 and there does seem much differnce, but its whats underneath that counts.

I hear so many people sayinf that PC2003 doesn't support MiniStumbler, however I won't not get PC2003 just becuase of that, but it would be cool to have a play with it.

On the WiFi CF front, I have found a COOL, SanDisk Compact Flash 128MB with built on WiFi 802.11b, which is two birds with one stone. There is also a SD WiFi card, but I would prefer to use SD for memory as CF drains the battery if you use it a lot.

I dont know really, I was hope someone to give me the perfect solution I dont have either a CompactFlash or SD card at the moment, so the SanDisk CF-128mb+Wifi looks like a good all rounder, and supports both PC2002 and PC2003.
