which pocket pc with memory map

i have decided to purchase a pocket pc . i will be using it with memory map for navigation . i know i will be better buying one with intergrated gps and the larger the screen the better . i believe i need active sync . is active sync something that comes with a pocket pc or is it seperate software. could someone please advice on which pocket pc i should be looking at . thank you

Many have integrated GPS and large screens. Make sure the GPS is SiRF3 (most are now).

ActiveSync comes built in as part of Windows Mobile 5 but you have to download ActiveSync from the Microsoft site to go on your desk/laptop.

Personally I have a Mio P350 and use it for in car navigation. There is also a P550 model with Bluetooth.

Be aware that on many devices the battery life will only be between 2 and 4 hours when using GPS, so if you plan to do a lot of walking check on expected battery life.

Many members on the pocketgpsworld site use memorymap so maybe you could find out more there, before you spend your money, then come back here and check the recommended devices..
