hi, i am going to purchase a pda recomended and tested by anquet to load there mapping software . i have decided on a choice of two the mio 550 and the Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket LOOX N560 . can any one help with which i should choose as i would prefer battery life , or can anyone recomend a pda compatible with anquet with long battery life . the unit will be mainly used with the gps . thank you

Most PDA's have the same battery life of around about 6 hours at full usage. Less if your using GPS.

You might also want to look at these models as we can get you spare batteries for them.

You would be able to load anquet on either of these.

Or maybe you could get your choice of pda and one of these and not bother about battery life.

That looks very interesting indeed,, so basically it's a hoover for the battery, disolving the redundancy and clearing the power flow.

I notice that usage recommends approx 80% of the aluminium battery contact to be in contact with the patch..

Would this require the removal of the manufacture stickers on the battery for optimal use? and is it definately of use with an O2 xda IIs?

I am considering going down this same route. I see on EBAY, from SuperGPS ( I have no connection with them), there are replacement batteries for the P550 of 1700mah compared to the supplied 1200mah. On the face of it one would get 40% more operating time.
Any comments, anyone tried the higher capacity battery?
