Default 2nd Contact database?

I want to set up two database of contacts: one business and one family/friends on my IPAQ 2210. How do I go about doing it?

It could also want the databases to be synchronised with two PCs - a business laptop and a desktop (bus. contacts and F/F respectively).

Also it would be useful tow set up to calendars - a bus and private one.

Amy advise would be appreciated.

I could be wrong but I don't think this is possible with a standard IPAQ and Activesync, there may be 3rd party software to do it but I'm not familiar with any.

I've been working very hard for the last two months to get an answer for this problem. I have a h5550 and have contacted EVERYONE about it. So far the only solution seems to be DB Anywhere, from Handango, but for full sync with iPAQ , your desktop needs MS Access and as far as HP are concerned, that won't be compatible with Window Mobile 2003. I can only suggest that you contact HP support, detailing what it is exactly you're looking to do. Microsoft, as expected of course, couldn't give me any answers as to which databases would be compatible. I despair, I really do!
If I find an answer I'll post it here, there and everywhere. A simple query, you'd think?

According to HP support it cannot be done, without additional software. The machine only supports one database of contacts (on my old Psion, you could have many). My options for having two such databases are (i) install a f/f database programme on my pda, maintain it there and simply copy to my desktop. For $10 I can get ‘Pocket Access Database Manager’ onthe pocketpc.com website. At the moment, I have created the database as an excel file, since the 2210 has pocket excel or (ii) create a category within Outlook contacts on my desktop or bus computer for f/f. However, when I sync all three computers, my bus. Computer will have the f/f contacts, which I don’t like.

Hope this makes sense!

Just an update on my situation. I found Checklist XP for Windows and Pocket PC (There are separate versions too) on Handango .com, and although not a Database, I can still use it for that purpose and it syncs brilliantly with my iPAQ. It may not have the detail of a database but its structure supports so many children and siblings that this may not be a problem . A free download can be had to see if it suits.

I am looking for a second calendar on my Win Mobile device but I don't even see the ability to create an empty one.
