Default Undo enforced security settings?

I have a mobile running WM5 - I wanted to sync it with my company Outlook account via GPRS, direct with the server. I entered all the info and during the first sync it raised a dialogue box saying it would have to enforce security protocols, which I accepted.

Now though, I don't want to sync with Outlook any more and I want to remove the phone lock. However, having deleted the ActiveSync relationship with the server the handset security settings are now greyed out so I can't alter them (either change the time-out setting or turn it off).

Any way of getting access to these settings again? I could switch on and off at will before I created this server relationship.

Default

OK - reset the machine and the security has gone, but now the icon to rotate the screen through 90° has gone! SPV 800 and WM5 PPC edition.
