Downloads for MDA Touch (HTC Touch)

I will be picking up an MDA Touch tomorrow and I was wondering where I can download some software. Firstly, the MDA Touch does not come with windows live messenger so where could I download it from? Also, where can I download google maps for my Touch (or any other software similar to google maps)?
