Problems with ActiveSync

I have been using ActiveSync for a couple of years, and have never been particularly with it. It has recently become more and more flakey to the point where it will not run at all at the moment despite a total re-installation.

All I really need to do is to synchronise my Outlook appointments with my Acer N321 device.

Does anyone know of an alternative to ActiveSync that will achieve this?

Are you using the latest version of ActiveSync? If not, I would recommend downloading this.

I also find AS a complete piece of junk, but require it to write the current software app I'm doing. All I can say is only ever use it to connect to one computer (never use the guest mode), and try to have only one PDA associated to your PC.
