Default Backing up Windows Mobile devices with Vista

Vista's Sync Center and Windows Mobile Device Center applications don't offer a device backup option (goodness knows as the old ActiveSync on XP did).

So just how is one expected to make security backups of one's Windows Mobile device if you are running Vista? Are there any third party options? I have scoured the net and found nothing - anyone found what I have missed?

MS still support backing up pre-WM5 devices, but as WM5 devices retain data even after full battery drain, MS in their wisdom removed backup functionality.

The best and most favoured backup solution is generally Sprite.

Now that I didn't know - seems like a good idea, but not so good if you lose your device of course. I'll have a look at Sprite, thanks.
