HTC Advantage X7500 and USB keyboard

I would like to use a USB keyboard with a swedish key layout with my HTC Advantage X7500 PDA. It has Windows Mobile 6.0 installed and the PDA has a built in USB host. Using the attached miniature keyboard the Swedish characters are displayed correctly but using a full size USB keyboard the Swedish keys are not recognized and instead what I believe may be the characters from an English keyboard are displayed. The use of a bluetooth keyboard (which might include some additional drivers) is not really an option as I would like to use the keyboard on longhauls (where radiotransmitters are not allowed).
I would be VERY grateful if somebody could tell me about a way to use a Swedish USB keyboard with my WM6 PDA.
