Question Medion + Pluscom SDIO problem...

Hope someone can help me out here, please!
Unsure whether this is an installation/settings problem....
I've got a
Medion PPC250 PDA (with MS Pocket PC 4.20), a Pluscom 802.11b WLAN SD card and MS ActiveSync 4.5 running.

Before inserting the card, I used ASync to install the driver and utility without any problem.
According to the Pluscom instructions, Start/Settings/Connections/Connections should show how to configure a wireless network card, but doesn't.
Instead, I've clicked the Advanced tab, and chosen 'My ISP' in the Select Network section. The 'Network Card' option shows my router (a BTVoyager2091) is 'connected', and the 'Networks to access'
choice shows 'All Available'.

The led on the card is now constantly flashing, which apparently is correct.
Leaving the PDA on the cradle, and therefore with ActiveSync still running, I can connect to the internet....if I remove the PDA from the cradle, or disconnect from ActiveSync, the card still flashes but I can't access the internet....all I see is an IE message stating 'The page you are looking for cannot be found'.

What am I doing wrong?!

Thanks for your help in advance...

Answering (part of) my own question here, but I'vejust noticed something....the S/W Radio button (the Radio Frequency button) keeps turning back to "Off" as soon as I leave that particular screen.
That give anybody any clues?
