Default Is Opera worthwhile?

Hi

I have an FS Loox N560 which I can use to access the web using Wi-Fi (not at the moment as I've messed up the settings!) but it's not great - especially my work e-mail which is rubbish.

I've been looking at Opera software - is it really any better that IE? Are there any other alternatives that are better?

Cheers

Opera is really nice looking, very finger friendly too with everything you could want fitted into the screen.
BUT
if you look at your RAM usage when it is on, you'll have about 8mb free, whereas IE has more like 20mb free when it is running, you wouldn't be able to do anything else with the pda while Opera is running really, and it is slow in accessing pages i found too.
