Psion Serie@s 5mx

Hello everyone
can anybody please help me ?

I have just got myself a PSION 5MX (yes old one) and i seem to be having trouble because, i am trying to find somewhere on the web, where i can possible download the software for this model, so that i can use this with my home PC and also my laptop, i have tried to send files from the psion mx5 to both my laptop and my main pc, but as you have guessed i am having no luck at all, does anyone out there please know of a site that will help me in this matter, all i have is the psion itself and a power transformer plug and a serial adapter, but i have no PSI WIN software, any help would be most appreciated

To S.P.Waller

You need PsiWin 2.3.3 which is the only version designed for XP and below, you may also need a USB converter and only some will emulate a serial port (not Balkin). Either visit www.psion.com/downloads however the download is 28MB so don't bother if your not on broadband - (you will also have to register) or visit www.clove.co.uk and they will download and send you a copy - they also have the usb converter.

Hope this helps, nothing wrong with Psions - bring them back thats what i say..
