Talking processor differences???

Is there any benefit of having a faster processor. I only intend to use it for the sat nav in the car.

Is the dell any good?

27 views and no one knows whether it any better to get a faster processor
on the PDA's

Hi Paul,

Seeing as you did not get a reply,

Yes the processor speed makes a difference in that it finds the data quicker e.g. it's the difference between the voices telling you to turn just before the turn or just after you have missed it, and it also influences the speed at which your position is redrawn too. So as with any pc the faster the better.

Hello sorry for the late reply, everyone have a nice xmas and new year?

If you only want you PDA for a SatNav system the processor power contributes to the speed of running the programs main functions, as ErnieS stated above, voice commands, data calculations are a main factor. Another factor is the speed of which the PDA can read the map data either on its own memory or on a storage card, this can be big factor in performance.
