Default help... TT2 and 3630 performance ques?

I have a IPAQ 3630 with a CF Flash sleeve.

I went to enquire about a TomTom2 car kit for this model and the chap in the shop said i shouln't bother as the performance would be terrible due to 32MB Ram and low processor speed.

Does anyone have this set-up and can comment on performance? I felt as though the only reason he said that was because he wanted to sell me a new Ipaq.

Thanks

I aint got a 3630 , mines a 5550/tt2 but it does stand to reason to get the best from the latest from tomtom , you will benefit with the latest in handhelds and you need more memory at the very least.
The whole GB map takes 90odd meg , thats just for the map !! , I know you can just put modules (segments of the whole map) in , but then you have to swap out every time you go out of that area.
I would go for 64M at least personally and a 400Mhz processor if possible
