Phew, glad you've got it sorted, I've just ordered a HP iPAQ 2210 and the last thing I wanted to see was problems with it

I've gone for a wired solution as my experience with BlueTooth hasn't really impressed me that much.

Maybe better to put your original post back up and also with the solution, that way when people do a search they can find out the solution.
