External Battery Setups

Dear All,
I've recently purchased an IPAQ 3955 and TT2 setup for using on a bike whilst touring round Europe. The only problem that has occured to me is one of power

As the bike I'll be using is a classic (dynamo electrics) which means that I have limited power available, I would like an external rechargeable battery option. I've seen a few on US sites, but is there anyone in the UK who does something similar. Also does anyone know the power comsumption figures for a 3955 and TT2 (cabled receiver).
