Talking Checkpoint and Wi-Fi

Just to let those of you who use CheckPOInt for Speed camera detection that it also includes Wi-Fi access point notification. Absolutely great if your out and about and need to send or download an email..... remember to refresh your list in synchronize first. Works great on a 4150. Amazing how many home users have unsecure networks giving free internet access. Also amazing how many people don't change the default password for logging onto their routers.....

Hi Charlie.

Just run CheckPOInt, go to Synchronize, Click Refresh, Once you've logged on to POIPlace, click + next to services, + next to Networking and select WiFi Access Points. Then Synchronize and there you have it.....

Set an alarm for notification and be a free surfer.....

How reliable do you find the 4150 ? I've had mine since Feb - No problems, but I have had to return one and nearly return that one last week that I emailed you about with the TomTom bringing up the Bluetooth Browser.

Any chance of setting a new group for Hints and Tips for Ipaq users on here ? I have few bits to post etc.

Paul

In all honesty I can't fault it...I had some hickups before with BT and GPS receivers but getting the right driver and/or update always fixes any problems. All in all it's a great PDA
