Download the Speed Camera Database

Open your internet browser and go to
http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php
And download and save the file pocketgps_uk_sc.zip to your desktop, extract all the files to a folder (that you create) You need to then physically drag and drop these files onto the memory card. To do this follow the instructions below:

You need to highlight the files and select copy
Click on My Computer
You should see a new drive under Removable Disk
You need to click on the removable disk and double click on the map folder, right click and paste the files across, very easy to do.

Configuring the Speed camera database

Tap on the mains screen
Select “change Preferences”
Click on “arrow” to go to more options
Click on “Maintain POI”
Click on ”warn when near POI”
Enter “PO” and select pocketgps Gatso
Enter Distance for warning, normally 100 yards.
Select Warning sounds
Tick box “Warn only if POI is on route”
Click on the “Main menu again, more options, browse maps, options,
Select “POI” and and POI in the bottom left corner and select GPS Gatso select done
You can then browse the maps and see where the cameras are and if you approach a camera that is on the database. you should here a sound warning you of this
speedcamera installation complete

I'm assuming you're trying to get the digitools postcode data to work?
You need to check the remaining memory in your pda (start/settings/system/memory). You need at least 16mb free on the storage side.
Its easier to load the postcode data to a memory card.
Save it in a new folder on your pc, copy this folder, whilst synced to pc use "explore" to navigate to your storage card then paste it to the card. You then need to create a shortcut to the exe. file, then cut and paste this to programs in the windows section of your pda.
Don't forget to add the "palmtop TTN control" to your pda - without this it won't work.
Have fun

Could someone please explain how to install the digitools postcode..

I've copied the folder to my pda and created a shortcut to ukpostcode.exe, but I get a message "cannot find ukpostcodes or one of it's components" is this related to "palmtop TTN control" ? if so what is it, where can I get it, and what do I do with it..

The files in the folder I copied to my mio 168 are:

setup.exe
TTNControl.arm.CAB
TTNControl.ini
ukpostcode.dat
ukpostcode.exe

I've tried running setup from my desktop but it don't get me far..
