No way ! At that price, I'd expect a Palm or PPC as part of the flexibility !

I would strongly advise that you look very carefully at the performance of this instrument against the claims made by snooper (performance products).

I have one and had cause to express dissapointment over many non-functioning key POIs, some unfinished POI icons, poor steet-level mapping detail, clumsey tools for point-on-map navigation and some very odd mapping errors (skegness appearing on the west coast, nefield below london etc). My impression was that the Tom Tom offered far better value for money and I feel let down by the markeding director whose initial responses were appropriately apologetic and provided interest in the reported errors, but soon expressed confusion as to what I expected them to do and finally became extremely offensive (on a personal level).

Yes think again my friend.

This is an old post but if you haven't bought it I would think carefully. If you don't like it you may not get a refund... you have to register the unit to use it and this immediately means its considered "used". This neat little loophole means the vendor (Networx) refused point blank to give us a refund when we returned ours. I've had several radar detectors from them in the past but will never use them again. We asked Performance Products if they condoned this behaviour and they have, so far, refused to comment.
