Default Camera Detection - Map Images

Hi Guys,

Have a 2210 + TT3 + Checkpoint and the overlay files, seems to work fine but the gatso images do not appear on the map - do you need to put the *.bmp somewhere special???

Also is it designed to only work when you have a route plotted - using the navigator as I would like it to alert me when I'm just driving round?

Cheers

Richard

Hi. It took me ages to work this out, but goto http://poiplace.oabsoftware.nl/POIregister3.php

You will need to goto the homepage and register (free) etc and download onto your 2210 (just follow the instructions). This will also give you all the POI for macdonalds asda ikea etc etc. The system is only an overlay and not a detector so you cant just use it driving around the way I think you would like. You will also be able to download the soundfiles from this site.

Hmm, I have the speed trap overlay from POI place but I want the actual images so that when I browse a map I can view where they are.

As for the constant warning, I guess I could just plan a route every time I go somewhere - TT3 will alert me to local POI e.g. fixed cameras.

Cheers for the help though

Richard
