Speed Camera updates on XL

How do I get rid of temporary speed limits on my tomtom XL which are no longer in force. e.g old 50 mph speed limits on sections of motorway which were being repaired but are now ok. I regarly download updates for speed cameras but these do not seem to get rid of the old ones. Help please anybody?
