Tom Tom Free Speed camera downloads

I have a tom tom 700 sat nav it says on the box that it comes with a voucher for you to download free safety camera updates, I aint seen a voucher in the box, is the product code card it? I have also went to the tom tom website trying looking at how to download their updates but it says you have to take a subscription??? I am also registered to their site, anybody know what to do cos I aint got a clue cos it dont tell you nothing in the books that comes with it?

i am new to the 710 and i got one moth free i went on there sight and activated it. i got a card called a product card and been told this is for when you subscribe on there web sight for any of there plus stuff eg speed cam..

hi i have had a tom tom for years..i brought one abput a year ago..pleased with it but updated it about 4 months ago to a 730 again very pleased but it did not come with a free canera card with it..well i brought a subscription from tomtom for approx 20 pound all went through and it came to my laptop ready for me to down load....then pluged my tomtom in the laptop went to down load it but would not download when i sent them an email they wrote back saying that i cant update my new tomtom for 6 months.....they will only let you update every 6 months so all beware before you hand money over to tomtom check 100% that it will work because they wont refund your money...so not only did i not get my free card for my cameras i also got sticked up for £20....good ol tomtom ha ha never will i ever buy one again...i also went back to halfords and they just said contact tomtom.....in all a total rip off......yes rip off ..and tomtom if you read this mail contact me....how dare they say when and where i can or cant do with my tomtom that i paid over £400.....so again beware of giving money to tomtom before youn have checked because as they told me they dont refund .......cheers all....sorry so long and boring...

I think you and tomtom are talking crossed purposes. There is no 6 month waiting UNLESS you have tomtom on a mobile/PDA. This is called product activation to stop piracy/multi-device loading.

This is totally different to the camera subscriptions, or free camera code card.

Check inside the manuals that came with the device, as the wife's card was tucked inside one of the booklets. It was an orangey colour with a code/scratch panel on it

Hi all talk about tomtom support I had nothing but problems with them,
I wanted to update my tomtom so did as instructed started backing everything up that done went to tomtom home started update some way through my pc crashed had to reboot now no back up thought tomtom might still be ok blank no maps here contacted tomtom sure enough they said you're right there is no maps will have to purchase a new map what this went on for some time I am now known as dangeruse steve by tomtom I cracked the tomtom processor now I can load eny map to my tomtom they are not happy with me. garmin much better support,
