Does anyone know the guidance to escape speed cameras?

My job is of a field officer and I have to visit different places in US. It’s an interesting job, but there are many pros and cons with that like some times I have to face problems because of speed cameras. Do you people have any idea from where can I be saved from such mysterious traps and also abide traffic rules like a good citizen, cause being a citizen is also our primary job. You said it brother, being a good citizen is also a responsibility. I was also in your shoes for quiet a long time as I also have a field job. Get a detector? (like road angel) They're legal in the US arent they?
