Are there any updates on this TIBO????

Hi, just bought one of these TIBO's despite getting conned by www.totalpda.co.uk as they sent me a refurbished one despite me ordering a new one as stated on their website which will vanish soon I bet, despite that I cannot see any updates or new maps or anything to do with it apart from throw it out of the car window.

Is this a white elephant product like my Dell PDA gps that Navteq want a small fortune to update.

Is it better to send it straight back and buy a Tom Tom?

The software is Destinator, so that should be your first port of call.

Updates always cost money to have the latest maps etc. Can't speak for the others, but TomTom normally offer an upgrade program (approx 1/3 buying the new software in store) when new versions come out.

what exactly are you after updating, and why?
