TOMTOM3 and US MAPS???

I already have installed TOMTOM3 with the UK and Europe Map installed. I have bought a tom tom CD with the US maps on and the install file for TOMTOM but I already have tomtom with the GB maps installed. I want to put the US maps for NewYork and CT but its not working. The only way I can get it to work is if I do the US install and then add the maps. But then I lose the UK maps??

Does the US maps have to have a different Install of TOMTOM or is there a way round it??

Which version of TomTom USA have you got?

I have a similar problem - got the discs, TTN3 for Pocket PC, the PDA (hx4700 already running TTN3 for the UK) sync'd to the PC (XP SP2) and CD 1 just reads and hangs.

Any ideas?
