Palm T3 and USA maps

Am going to US next week and was trying to find US maps for Palm to buy but the only way to get hold of the maps seems to be to buy the whole TomTom Palm package in US.
Anyone has a solution to this?, feels a bit useless having a navigator I cant even buy extra maps to when I go travel.

I don't believe you can get USA maps for the UK/Palm version. Can't find them on TomToms site.
