Default Map Updates

I am running TomTom 2.24 on an old jornada 525 (Yes vintage stuff but is works and I'm happy to leave it in the car glove box!). Now, the maps are getting old. Can I get replacement UK maps? I've checked the TomTom site and can only really find an option to upgrade to TT5. I'm happy with what I've got, just want more up to date maps. Anyone able to advise?

i am affraid that tomtom release the map updates when they release a newer version of tomtom, to get newer maps you need to get the newer tomtom. They dont allow map different map versions to work iwth different application versions.

Thanks for that. Will wait for bugs to be ironed out of TT5 before I go there.

Don't hold your breath - I've just bought a TomTom GO 500 and the maps are at least 2 years out of date. How can they get away with this?
