Problems with map display

I own a Tom Tom Go 720. In the past, my display has shown little 3d buildings at the sides of the road when I'm driving through a built up area. I have recently had to reset it to manufacturers settings and I dont seem to be able to get the 3d display again.

Would anyone be able to tell me how to get this back please?
