Default Refurb GO520 screen brightness

Hi, my new refurb GO520 screen seems very dim.
First bright day today since I've had it and even on 100% brightness it is almost unreadable.

I also have an older work 520 which has much more contrast and brightness, infact on 70% it is brighter than the new one. Both are on the latest firmware.

I'm awaiting a response from TT support but anyone else noticed the problem or have any suggestions ?
