GO720 - Lost access to Safety Camera download?

Hi, I bought a TomTom GO 720 from HP iPAQ PDA | TomTom GO | TomTom ONE | GPS Sat Nav | Palm Smartphone | Total PDA and I must say it's been a bit of a nightmare!

I've had all sorts of problems downloading updates via Home.

I also had to format the unit because it shipped with a corrupt file called USBCðÈwä. that windows thought was over 1GB and wouldn't let me move or remove.

I've also had problems with it losing all audio output which also required a format

I've also had problems with Home disabling lot's of menu options on the grounds the unit I'm using is not compatible, even though it clearly is, which also required reformats of the tomtom and several uninstalls of the Home software.

Frankly www.totalpda.co.uk should be glad I'm quite 'techy' as I think most others would have simply returned the unit as faulty and asked for a replacement...

Anyway thankfully I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel but one big problem remains...

When I first installed the unit and connected to Home I got a raft of options, including the option to download Safety Cameras to all EU Countries individually for Free, or subscribe to 12 months updates for £19.95. At the time I just selected the UK, France and Spain maps and thought I'd do the rest later (which in hindsight was stupid as they're little 1kb files so I should have selected them all). I now want to get back and download the rest of the files for the other Countries so I can unlock the cameras for all Countries as I am traveling to Europe in the summer.

Problem is the option to download them has disappeared, it only gives me the option to install the 3 I originally downloaded from my Computer or by the combined Europe Subscription for £19.95.

Can someone tell me how I get these back or e-mail me copies of these files (if that's possible). I was under the impression from the 720 page of www.totalpda.co.uk that speed cameras were included, and indeed they were available to me when I first installed home.

But now they've disappeared! Even if I format the device and install the original software version it still doesn't bring back the option?

Has anyone else who has bought a GO720 from here been able to download the Speed Camera maps from TomTom Home? Can someone tell me how I get back to that download page?

I'd check with tomtom it looks like tomtom home thinks you've already downloaded them. You can speak to them on 08451610009.

If you are looking to subscribe to the cameras you're far better looking at pocketgps.
