Default Options for Traffic info with Go930/Go930T

I am looking to get a new TomTom with Europe and US Maps.
I am therefore considering a Go930 or Go930T.
As far as a can see the difference between these 2 is that the Go930t comes with the RDS/TMC antenna included - is this correct??

My other questions are:-
Do both models support getting traffic info over GPRS (i know I will need is a compatible mobile with a data service active).
Is this a an annual subscription service in both cases ie for both a Go930 and a Go930T)
On the Go930T is there an annual subscription to use the RDS/TMC system
If a bought a Go930 and then separately bought the RDS/TMC antenna does this require an annual subscriptions service?

I'm sure I read somewhere there is a combination where you can get free traffic info (not sure it it was GPRS or RDS/TMC) ie subscription was effectively a lifetime one.

PS I appreciate there will be a data charge from my mobile service provider for GPRS traffic and not for the RDS/TMC but I'm more interested in avoiding the TomTom annual subscription since I will only be an occasional user.

Many thanks

A 930 is the exact same device as the 930T, the only difference is the contents of the box as the 930T has the RDS-TMC receiver in the box.

For European use the RDS receiver is free to use for the life of the device, is the USA the service is subscription based needing a 12 month duration to be purchased. You cannot use a European receiver in the USA and a USA receiver won't work in Europe.

GPRS Traffic is available in Europe and USA but bear in mind the cost of data when you are abroad, this can get very costly the data cost is from your mobile phone company you also need to factor in the cost of the annual subscription associated with GPRS traffic which gets paid to TomTom.

Another system to consider is the HD Traffic available on the x40, x50 and XL Live devices, again subscription based and it will only work on one side of the "Pond" and not the other but the actual Traffic data is far better in use - Mike
