Hi Mike

I am using Samsung J700i and all connections were done manually.

Also tried this with a Nokia 6111 but would not establish wireless data
connection.

I don't see the samsung on the compatibility list but the nokia is down for everything except SMS.

You might want to try removing the app from the device and reloading it to get the nokia to pair correctly.
You can find the instructions here.

Make sure you have made a backup of your tomtom first.

Hi Martyn

Unforetunatley the nokia was borrowed.

I take it that any phone not on list cannot be manually connected
and that i have to buy a phone on that list.

All the list means is that TomTom have tested that phone at some point and found out which features are supported, quite often you will find phones not on the list do indeed work but possibly not all the features - Bit of a lottery really - Mike
