Default Tom Tom Go 910

Hi all,

I have just purchased my Go 910 from www.totalpda.co.uk... well impressed by their service...!!

Whilst setting up my 910 yesterday i deleted all the "foreign" voices... didint see the need to have German etc installed taking up memory..

I think i also deleted the computer generated voices too in error. When i connect to TT Home i get the response these voices are not available for this device.
This means i dont get verbal instructions to turn or even get the traffic warnings..

Can i get them re-installed and if so where do i find them and then which folder do they go in..??

Thanks in anticipation

Paul

TTS voices should be in the folder named "LoquendoTTS" do you have this folder on the device and if so what is the folder size (should be circa 4GB in size with a full set of TTS voices installed).

Don't you have a backup of the 910 from a point prior to deleting files? - if not getting the TTS voices is going to be difficult as they are huge in file size and Home cannot make these available - Mike

Find someone with a 910 and grab a full copy of the LoquendoTTS folder from their backup/ device - Mike

Its not that difficult, I have a dead 910 but still have all the files on the computer so putting a copy of the LoquendoTTS folder in total on a DVD would be easy, you will need to send me an address to post it to - suggest you use the "Private Message" option if you want me to put a copy in the post - Mike
