Default 750 'phone queries

Hi, more help needed, please.

Just getting used to my new Go 750 live, which I love, but I have a couple of queries about using it with my phone. The 750 has Bluetoothed to my 'phone OK, and I can make calls through the 750. But;

Firstly, when I try to get it to copy my contacts list into the 750 it just continually says it is busy doing it, but never quite gets there.

Secondly, after using the 750 to make a hands free call, then touching the "end call" button on the screen, the voice instructions disappear. The 750 still tells me the voice is on, but no instructions come out! If I turn the device off and on again then all is well.

All help gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Guy

What phone are you using?

If you have your phone book on the PC it is possible to create a txt file with all the contacts/ numbers etc in it and add it to the phone using Windows Explorer, if you want to have a go at doing this post back and I will dig out some instructions on the text file format and where it goes etc - Mike

Hi Mike

Thanks.

The 'phone is an LG KC550.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

How about the problem with the 750 directional voice instructions turning themselves off after I end the call?

Have you come across this?

Guy

Tomtom dont list the KC 550 as a compatible model.
TomTom, portable GPS car navigation systems

All the LG that are on there are listed as Hands free only.

Switching off the speaker when ending a call might be why its not listed.

The easy way to create the file required is by using a pre-configured Excel SpreadSheet (assuming have the Excel application on your PC), you can download the required pre-formatted Excel file from This Page (TomTom Contacts SpreadSheet) - Mike
