Live services activation code

Hi all

Amazon have just sent me my live services card for 12 months of service.

Am I supposed to unpeel the strip on the back of the card to get at my activation code, please?

This sounds like a silly question, I know, but the strip seems welded to the card and is only coming away in tiny little bits, as it's perforated all over. Help!!!

Also, what does the final instruction for installing it mean. It says, after saying Tom Tom Home will automatically install it on my device, "On your device, log in again under "Change preferences" in "My Tom Tom account"
