Start again by installing the main program from the CD that came with it, once you have done that and you're sure its working again then install the update. If the problem persists then contact TomToms support team.

hi i have the same problem, my tomtom keeps putting the red cross through my sd card.
i loaded the new version and it has worked fine for a month, but today while driving it just switched off, and when i started it up again, it was displaying this error. Shall i try the reset button, or load the cd again.
Hope someone can help.

Welcome to our forums nellylonglegs.
The reset button is the quickest thing to try first then reload the CD if that does not work.

Not even with the standard install from the CD?
Do you have another SD card you can try?

Hi charlie, i have tried the reset button and nothing happened, so out came the disk and i tried to re-install the application on to the tom tom. It all came up and when it asked me to turn on and connect the tomtom to the pc, (which i had done). i clicked the arrow to proceed but it keep going back to the same message which was to make sure tomtom connected. It was. I have used my computer to download the latest version and some poi's, so i know that the disk and software worked before. Do you have any idea why this is happening, as i cannot use this now.

Please help?? Any advise helpful
shall i send it back as faulty do you think.??

Welcome to our forums pacifictoy. Why do you suggest not reloading the update? We have been using it since it's release and have not had problems with it.

nellylonglegs what version of Windows are you using on the PC and have you successfully connected to TTGO to it before?
