Default tom tom go poi problems

Hi,

I have recently taken bought a tom tom go and I am really pleased with it . Just one problem When I look at the poi's a few of them are coming up with the nearest one being over 100 mile away e.g cinema!! Has anybody any clues what is up with it? Or have I hit a button I shouldnt of done?

Welcome to our forums.
Go into the menu and check which POIs you have enabled/disabled.

Hi Charlie and thanks, I have checked as above but I have only got the speed cams enabled well they are the only one with ticks on them.

Not all the cinemas are contained in the TomTom POI database, and that goes for all categories. There are also ones listed that no longer exist.

Follow the link http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtompoi.php, there are numerous additional POI categories available. You need to have each one enabled only if you want it to appear on the map.
