Default Tom Tom GO signal problem

I've set up my Tom Tom Go as per the instructions in the box, installed the update and taken the unit into the car to have a play.

Once switched on in the car and I look at the satellite config screen it shows 4 or 5 signals but it also says "No valid GPS signal". I've sat there for over 30 mins now with no joy

I've pressed the reset button on the bottom to no avail and all the satellite icons stay grey. Is there something else I should be doing to get it to lock?

I used to use a pda version in the same car fine so I know its not the windsceen or shape of car but totally confused

Welcome to our forums.
Just to cover all the bases, try it outside the car. If it' s stil the same see about getting it replaced.

I've tried it out of the car with the same result

I think a trip back to the shop for an exchange is in order!
