Software Update 5 - Still can't get Full Postcodes

I have conducted the Software Update to Version 5 but it still doesn't seem to allow me to search using FULL POSTCODES - all the other functionality is there!

What can I do - I've tried a blank SD card but without success?

I'm having the same problem I've deleted the additional voices and there is 12 mb free on the supplied card.

When I'm doing the update the bar moves to just over half way across then then just stops and it says the update is complete. The navigate to postcode option is there yet it still wont search with just the postcode


HELP !!!

I've just found on another TT forum that this function will not work with the current set of maps that are on the TTGo. Instead we will have to purchase a new set of maps with the postcode info on

These maps will not be released until may 2005

if you check out www.tomtom.com they have a questions and answer section which is quite informative. They also have an accessories section which will give you the price of the new map and post code card. Bit expensive although in Euros and not £'s.

Put a dir named zip on the main memory and copy the 8mg file out of the map dir into the zip dir, this WILL WORK
