Copying files

Hi All

Can anybody help me, i have just purchased a 512mb memory card from kingston so i could copy my files over from the tom tom 300 supplied card. after copying them, when i insert the card into the tom tom go 300 it starts up then comes up with the message no maps available, i have checked that all the files copied over and everything seems to be there, i have also formatted the memory card so if any of you can help it would be much appreciated
