Default TomTom Go 700 Wont Start

I just received my TomTom go 700. I follwed the instructions, but when I power on the device, all I get is a boot menu, not the navigational software. I am not able to get any further than this. Suggestions, anyone?

Regards,
Ketil Molan Olsen

It might be a good idea to attach a small paper clip (TTG resetting tool) on the TTG bag, so you always have one handy in case of emmergency.

ah, the simple idea's are always the best! good one! I had the blank screen problem after one journey but unfortunately, my tom tom's problem was terminal, reset didn't work. Got a replacement & all seems to be ok...now have paper clip attached to carry case...
