problem with tomtom plus service!

Anyone find this service 'hit & miss' or is it just me?

first of all I connected no problem... now I have to enter my email address & password everytime... which is shortly followed by 'connection not made' or something similar... now it's starting to annoy me

The weather was fine so a connection must have been made but the traffic updates has never got going... also does anyone know the real difference between vodafone & vodafone live (contract) settings.
