I have a new sandisk sd card 1gig I have formated it and copied my backup file to it but my go wont accept the card just puts a red cross though it wont let me use it at all. pc recognise it as 999mb but if I use tomtom go to format it only see's it as 500mb the card is fine and is working and I can conect ok to pc it appears that the go wont recognise a card over 512mb is this the case have tried all updates even latest still the same no good trying customer support they aren't answering my Emails or calls just get told all busy and get cut off many Thanks in advance

I've just done the same - could it be we've formatted the card with the wrong format ? eg. for pc but not TTG ? I hope what ever it is it's reversable.
Chris.
Let me know if you find out and I'll do the same.
