tomtom go 700 handsfree use 'audio problem'

I cannot hear the call through the tomtom go 700 even though the phone is paired correctly, the call is connected but cant hear or be heard by recipient. The appears to be an audio button on the screen when the phone is connected, but if touched phone just disconnects?!

The phone is the new Sony k750i and my network is o2

other than that, this is a brilliant bit of kit...i cant get any support from tomtom as i cant get through on their phone number and they have not responded to my email (sent 3 days ago via their website).

Can anyone help please.

sorry mate I cant help but wanted you to know I have the same issue with the TTGo 500, emailed tech support and got a reply in 5 days saying download latest patch from website, they didnt say its a known issue and this would fix it, just download it.
did that and hey presto the fooking thing is just the same, me screaming HELLLOOOOO at the TT and a feint crackly voice saying are you there .
apart from that its prob the best on the market but I waited on the 500 just because of hands free moby.
if you get a solution post it mate please.

i have just bought a tomtom 700, have the se k750i and i too cannot hear or be heard!!!! ne help would be great. emailed tomtom but no reply yet!

I too have this problem with my 700 and Nokia 6630.
The only way to get it going again is to re-pair the phone with the 700 after disabling and reenabling the bluetooth on both devices. ARRR it is soooo annoying.
