Default Ordance Survey Grid ref

Does anyone know if it is possible to modilfy a tom tom go 300, so you can navigate to an o/s grid ref point. this would be very usefull to me.

Don,
you can because there is an overlay (.OV2 file) with all OS grid refs on it and. This means you could navigate to the POI, hence the ref, don't know about the accuracy though. Good for treasure hunts etc, even TA training ?

On other hand I use tomtom for geocaching and its up to 5m+/- accurate depending on surroundings. You can see the GPS lat/long degreess, dms or decimal in the GPS configure screen on tomtom.

Try asking the www.tomtomfree.com guys they might have the overlay. I think it may have been withdrawn due to copyright issues with the OS.

Sorry just checked and it is a navigate to Lat/Long, so may not be of use after all.
