Started losing th signal

I've had my brilliant tom tom 300 for two weeks and it worked perfectly.

Then in the last couple of days its started to lose the signal every few minutes. It usually locks on for five mins then loses all sat signals for at least 3 mins.

Anyone else had this problem?
