Default Apple Mac users

When I bought my TomTomGo 300 recently I was told that it can simply be pluged in and used in the car. Quite right. No problems at all. However, I was also told that TomTom now support the mac operating system and I would find all the info I need in the supplied cd. However the cd only contains a pc .exe file. So where does a mac user look? I have tied the TomTom site but with no luck. Come on you fellow mac users - please - help me out here.
