Problem with Orange SPV E200

Trying to connect to this phone from Tomtom Go 300.

Tomtom says that it has set up the connection to the phone OK, but the "Mobile Phone" option does not appear anywhere in the Tomtom menus so the features for the phone cannot be accessed. We only want to use it for hands free calls and so have not set up wireless internet access.

Can anyone give any advice please?

I noticed that on the Tomtom site it says it only shows this facility in the Go 700 and 900, however according to the intructions with the Go 300 it is possible. This conflicting information doesn't help.
