Default Tom Tom 700 programming road speeds

Hi,

Recently bought a Tom Tom Go 700 and thought I had seen somewhere that the speeds at which arrival time calculations are done could be set against various road types e.g. Motorway, A roads, B roads etc.

Is this so or am I cracking up?

Cheers,

Griff.

Hi

I have a TT Go 700 too. I looked for this feature, but cannot find it. I also have a TT Nav 3. It is on that one.

I believe that the speeds are pre programmed according to the type of road. On version 5, you are not able to change the programmed speeds. The calculation times should automatically adjust according to distance from destination.
