Wiring options for 700 GO

Hi,

Having that cigar lighter lead trailing across the dash looks a mess and I was thinking of wiring in a lead to the car somewhere behind the dash but then noticed that the input voltage is only 5v.

Do Tom Tom do a 12v to 5v transformer for this purpose other than the one which is integral with the cigar lighter lead?

Suppose I could always wire in a cigar lighter female behind the dash and leave the male permanently plugged in to it.

we dont have and i dont think tomtom have brought out this for the newer models but this is somthing you might want to contact tomtom direclty on.
